I'm moving on..and lovin' it!

Hello everyone,
I'm baaacckk!!
Sure feels great to be blogging again :)

And thanks to this gorgeous flowers,
For they are the reason I'm blogging again..
As I couldn't resist sharing them with you!

Called the "Yellow-veined Eranthemum"
Aren't they lovely?

The contrasting color combo is strikingly awesome.
Drops of purplish-pink spots against pure white petals.
A definite head turner to anyone seeing it for the first time!

Just love how mother nature gave it a "dripping paint" look.
It's as if the fairies just shoved their heavy wet brushes into the flower
and let the wet paint dripped down to the petals below,
forming scattered dots pattern :)

This is the closest I could get but look who's stealing the show.
Many colorful butterflies were hovering while I took the pictures,
But this moth gets to be the lucky one.

This is the first time for me to be seeing yellow veins on leaves.
Just look at these leaves,
very very nice indeed, yeah?

All pictures are taken from the courtyard of my condo,
where they are planted as borders there.
So you can imagine how pretty they look in rows.

I will be going to nurseries soon.
Hope to post pretty pictures from my garden then.
Till then, take care.

Happy 4th of July to all Americans :)

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

  1. This moth puts almost its whole head into the tubular part of the flower. I have this plant too where I planted into a flower bed and had featured it too.

    1. Yeah..such a vain moth! I guess part of their showing off talent tactics. Must be nice too to plant it on a flower bed. The beauty stands out real well.

  2. Kwiatki są śliczne ze swoimi plamkami na płatkach. Ciekawe, czy pachną. Pozdrawiam.
Flowers are beautiful with their spots on the petals. I wonder if they smell. Yours.

    1. Too bad Giga, it is not fragrant at all :(
I was hoping it smell too.

  3. Hello Ash, I'm so happy to see you're back (not that I ever doubted you would be) you love flowers too much :) You've returned with a real beauty! I've never seen this flower before. I love your description of the fairies doing the paint job these beauties are sporting, must be true!

    1. Oh Rosemary, you know me so well. I'm so in love with flowers! Can't imagine not having them in my life..
I'm always with Tinkerbell when it comes to describing flowers, that's why I can't help thinking that!! Could be true yeah?
Anyway, it's good to be back and have supporting friends like you.
      Thanks Rosemary :)

  4. Ash, nice flowers, purple drops and white petals! Can't wait for your photos from nursery and your purchases.
